By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Roofing Expert is a documentation tool for roofing inspections. It helps you record inspection data, capture photos, and generate reports. You perform the inspection; you supply the observations; the App organizes and formats them.
The developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the App or any part of it.
Free tier. You may create up to three (3) complete reports at no charge, with no time limit.
Subscription. Continued use beyond the free tier requires Roofing Expert Pro, an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) purchased through your Apple Account. Pricing is shown in the App before purchase.
Billing and renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Apple handles all billing; the developer cannot process refunds — refund requests go through Apple.
If your subscription lapses. Your existing reports and previously generated PDFs remain available on your device in read-only form. You will not be able to create new reports, edit existing ones, or generate new exports until you resubscribe. We do not delete your data upon cancellation.
The App, including its design, software, and branding, is owned by the developer and protected by intellectual-property law. Your report content is yours — the developer claims no ownership of the inspection data, photos, or reports you create.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, MERCHANTABILITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, PRAXIS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT ANY REPORT WILL RESULT IN THE APPROVAL, PAYMENT, OR ANY PARTICULAR OUTCOME OF ANY INSURANCE CLAIM, OR THAT ANY REPORT MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANY PARTICULAR INSURANCE CARRIER, ADJUSTER, COURT, OR REGULATOR.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PRAXIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR DENIED OR REDUCED INSURANCE CLAIMS, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP. PRAXIS'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Your data is stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining device backups (e.g., iCloud or computer backup). the developer is not responsible for data lost due to device loss, damage, deletion of the App, or failure to maintain backups.
You may stop using the App at any time. the developer may suspend or terminate the license for violation of these Terms. Sections 4–8 survive termination.
These Terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the App and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date, and continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
